Privacy in Adoption

All adoptive parents grapple with who they tell what and when in reference to the biological family information they have for their adopted child. An article was posted recently on an adoption advocacy group, Rainbow Kids, website. This article brings to light the feelings of adoptive families and, most importantly, the children as the specifics about a child’s life and adoption are shared publicly. This article also provides several excellent tips on how to address and plan for privacy within an adoptive family. Well worth taking the time to read it.
